I was excited when Brenda contacted me and wanted to wear the New Balance THIS IS A 5K, right? running singlet for her Jemez Mountain Trail Run 50k. She was extremely nervous all week on Facebook and I really had no idea what she was in for. Apparently she was familiar with the course, having raced there twice already, I guess she knew what she was in for! Immediately following the race Brenda sent over some photos including the one below: WHOA! This race was no joke, just check out the elevation profile I am including here, not to mention the tumble she took heading downhill. All I can say is that Brenda is pretty hardcore and she picked the perfect shirt for her race and I am very grateful she chose Runner's Booty on her journey!

I was beyond excited when Norman messaged me on Facebook and wanted to know if he could get a MILE AFTER F%#*@ING MILE hoody to wear to Boston this year. In a hurry I printed one up and sent it his way. He absolutely loved it and sent me the pictures of him and Anton (Tony) Krupicka from an event hosted at a running store and the other of him before the race start. He had a great race, met his goal and looked great crossing the finish line (he didn't even get caught stopping the time of his watch).

I have made some amazing friends on my running journey and one of my biggest fans/supporters has been Geri. This weekend she has accomplished her goal and has qualified for Boston Marathon 2014 by running a 3:47:40 at Shiprock Marathon AND placing first in her AG. Congratulations Geri -- I am so happy for you and blessed to know you!
